小晴喊冤表示，母親因車禍導致生活無法自理，入住安養院後，就已將其所有股票及銀行存摺、印章都給都交給自己保管，並授權可自由提領使用及處分，唯一要求就是「要她負責照顧到終老」。她也說明，提款與賣股所得全數用於支付母親的安養、醫療、喪葬及遺產稅費用，自己不清楚母親過世後即喪失代為操作帳戶的資格，並無惡意或侵占之意。
